Obituary 

REILLY--Paul F., of Yonkers, on May 1, 2016 at the age of 57. Beloved husband of Regina, loving father of Katherine and Meghan, dear son of Margaret and the late Francis Reilly. Brother of Peter (Mary Ann), Sean (Valerie), Frances (David) Smith, Kathleen (Michael) Hymes. Uncle of six nieces and nephews. After graduating from Fordham University he went on to earn his Masters Degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. He had a long and distinguished career in advertising where he most recently served as a Director of Media Strategy, Marketing and Communication for Northwestern University in Qatar, Doha. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son, Funeral Home, Bronxville, between the hours of 6 to 9pm Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial, St. Joseph's Church, Bronxville, on Friday, May 6 at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Fordham University, to the Paul F. Obituary Condolences Mark Patrick Collins, 55, of Pleasantville, NY passed away on December 21, 2013 surrounded by loved ones. Mark was born in Michigan on November 10, 1958 to the late L. Vincent and Helen (Maloney) Collins. He grew up in Yonkers, where he graduated from St. Eugene's School, Archbishop Stepinac High School, and Manhattan College.Mark married Virginia (Coffey) and settled in Pleasantville where together they raised their children, Brendan and Aileen, who were his pride and joy. Mark was an active and beloved member of his church and community. He was employed by Moody's Analytics as Director and Strategic Relationship Manager. In addition to his wife and children, Mark is survived by his mother, his brother Vincent (Suzanne) of Yorktown, a sister Meg Pfaff (Michael) of Florida, ten nieces and nephews, and a large extended family.The family will receive visitors Thursday, December 26th from 3-8 PM and Friday, December 27th from 3-8 PM at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 28th at 9:30 AM at Holy Innocents Roman Catholic Church in Pleasantville. James Martin

Martin, James 'Jim' Joseph
52, of New River passed away on November 30, 2010 of complications from pneumonia. He was born September 4th, 1958 in NY to Joseph and Marjorie Martin. He was a 1976 graduate of Archbishop Stepinac High, White Plains, NY and a graduate of Arizona State University. He was employed by Banner Health for 22 years as a senior Digital Media Specialist. Jim's passing will clearly leave a hole in the Banner family. He is survived by his life partner, Lynda Nicholson, his father Joseph, sisters Denise (Michael) Chiapperino, Jenifer (Michael) Gronowski, nieces and nephews Marissa, Michael, David and Douglas Chiapperino, Diana and Alyssa Gronowski, all of NY; in addition to his extended Arizona family of Larry, Chad, Heather and Anthony Bluhm and Angelique, Arael and Harley Abbott. A private service was held for family on 12/4/10. A memorial service for his many friends and colleagues will be held at a later date. Arrangements were handled by the Allen Funeral Home. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Banner Thunderbird for the compassionate care he received.

Joseph Beninato

Joseph M. Beninato (Joe Cookie), a White Plains resident, died February 23, 2007. He was 49. He was born February 19, 1958 to the late Joan and Philip Beninato. On January 12, 1985 he married Pamela Primerano at St. Ursala Church in Mt. Vernon. Mr. Beninato was well known for his hard work and successful business. He was featured in the Day in the Life Section of the Journal News in 1997. He also had an article about him appear in Fortune Magazine for being recognized by his company as an outstanding distributor. Joseph was owner, operator and distributor of a Pepperidge Farm Franchise route for 29 years. He was a parishioner at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in White Plains, where he was an usher. Besides his wife Pamela of White Plains, he is survived by three sons, Joseph J., Nicholas and Jake Beninato, all of White Plains. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Philip Beninato of Mt. Vernon, Stefanie Beninato of Santa Fe, NM, Raymond Beninato of Greenwich, CT, Marianne Beninato of Boston, MA and Peter Beninato of Portland, OR and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 11 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Paul Faranda

FARANDA, PAUL J. March 2, 1958- September 26, 2005 Paul Faranda, a former resident of Ossining and graduate of Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains died Monday, September 26 at the age of 47 in Round Rock, TX. Mr. Faranda was born in New York City on March 2, 1958 to Joseph and Jeanne Faranda and grew up in Ossining. In 1962 he spent the better part of a year in New York Hospital to combat congenital kidney disease and juvenile diabetes, conditions he would deal with courageously for the rest of his life. Paul was a 1980 graduate of the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration where he was a coxswain for the rowing team. In the autumn of 1979 he called the strokes for a first place finish in the prestigious Head-ofthe-Charles regatta and in 1980 his was the first Big Red lightweight eight to beat Harvard in dual race in almost 20 years. Mr. Faranda moved to Texas after graduation where he worked primarily as a controller in the hotel industry. In 1993 the long term effects of his medical condition resulted in renal failure, and he went on dialysis until 1998, when he underwent a successful kidney/pancreas transplant. In 2001 he became a dialysis patient for a 2nd time, and in 2004, shortly before he was to undergo a 2nd kidney transplant he was diagnosed with renal cell cancer. Paul dealt with these challenges with grace, dignity, and humor. He was a loving brother, son, and uncle, and was beloved by his family. In the words of his brother Jim, "he led a noble life". He was predeceased by his father Joseph Faranda in 1993 and is survived by his mother Jeanne, brothers Thomas, James and J. Philip, nephews Paul, Anthony, Joseph, Timothy, Luke, Gregory, and niece Catherine. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in his name to the ; National Kidney Foundation , 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. Viewing hours will be Wednesday, October 4th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Dorsey Funeral Home. The Rite of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, October 5th at 10 am at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Eastern Avenue, Ossining. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Paul Iwanowski

Paul Joseph Iwanowski, age 53, of Monroe, after a valiant battle with cancer, passed away peacefully March 10, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Paul was born in Yonkers, NY. He attended Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains and Manhattan College, Riverdale. He was an electrical engineer by training and a global facilities and real estate manager for several international corporations. He is survived by his wife Lisa Wackerman Iwanowski , two daughters, Claire age 23 and Sarah age 19, parents Carolyn and Joseph Iwanowski of Stratford, CT and two sisters and their husbands Lynne and Michael Costantini of Fairfield and Beth and Michael Fisher of Purdys NY. Paul is also survived by his parents-in-law Dianne and Lawrence Wackerman of Hicksville, NY, as well as his sister-in-law Karen Myers and brother-in-law Chris Myers. Paul was a loving uncle to Michael, Lauren, Robert, Lizzie and Jeff. Paul was a devoted son, husband, father, brother and uncle who loved to cook Sunday dinners for extended family. He was a beloved friend to many, many people. An avid golfer, he had his first hole-in-one in summer of 2011. His beautiful gardens are testament to his green thumb. In the past year, he became an accomplished watercolorist and baker of artisan breads.The family wishes to thank Dr. Neal Fischbach and his entire staff at Oncology Associates of Bridgeport.Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Directly at St. Jude's Church 707 Monroe Tpke. Monroe. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Monday and Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT.
